Indigenous Futures Research Lab

Where community, knowledge, and action converge.

The Indigenous Futures Research Lab is a humanities-centered space for community-driven research, digital storytelling, Indigenous planning, creative practice, and public scholarship.

About the Lab

The lab brings together students, faculty, artists, and community partners to build projects rooted in land, language, kinship, care, and Indigenous futurity. Our work moves across maps, virtual reality, sound, film, zines, performance, archaeology, and creative writing.

Project Portals

These portals organize the lab’s public-facing work. The homepage language is community-facing; each project page can hold deeper scholarly context, methods, outputs, and documentation.
